1. 4. Such light cycles act as the primary zeitgeber (periodic external cues capable of entraining biological rhythms) that influence and govern the behaviours and physiology of nearly all living organisms.
5. Due to the fluctuations and oscillations of the Earth's orbit and tilt on it's axis the regularity of light-dark cycles varies wildly depending on where you are and when it is.
6. Circa Solar visualises the critical solar information contained in fluctuating daily and seasonal sunlight cycles.
7. This is something that the fixed conventional mechanical watches and clocks struggle to allow for, but dynamic screen of smartwatches and smartphones are perfectly suited to such fluctuations.
