1. All this information collected on time will be used to assess evolution of forest damages and initiate appropriate response in case of major issues.
2. Based on the type of report sent, the appropriate forest authorities of a given administrative region will received the report and validate its content.
3. Silvalert is a website and a phone app that aims at collecting information about damages observed in forest.
4. Each user having an account can report on a damage observed onsite by taking a picture geolocalised and sending it to the system.
5. Only damages observed in South-West Europe and the United Kingdom can currently be reported.
6. This tool has been developed by the PLURIFOR consortium.
