1. MASA (Mann Assessment of Swallowing Ability) is a scoring tool for the standardized MASA standardized clinical examination of swallowing.
2. Results include a total score (out of a maximum of 200), a dysphagia severity ranking, an aspiration risk index ranking, and a graphic profile of strengths and weaknesses identified by the examiner.
