1. This app will guide you on a bespoke heritage trail between Chatelherault Country Park, home of the Duke of Hamilton's 18th Century Hunting Lodge and Low Parks 5* Museum.
2. By unpacking Hamilton's heritage in various ways - from videos through historical facts to questions for kids - this app encourages people of all ages to have fun exploring and engaging with the landscape around them.
3. The project is managed and commissioned by South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture Trust and is funded by the Smarter Choices, Smarter Places - Paths for All grant scheme.
4. National cycle routes and public transport links are highlighted to encourage active travel to, from and throughout the trail.
5. Use the app to discover fascinating information, beautiful archival images and links to further reading about each point.
6. As you make your way along this 5km walking/cycling route, you will discover 17 distinct heritage markers at key locations.
