Nordicana is the UK’s only festival to combine Nordic crime & thriller film & fiction, a genre that exploded after the release of Stieg Larsson’s The Millennium Trilogy (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) books and films, and the hugely popular BBC FOUR aired TV series’, The Killing, Wallander, Borgen & The Bridge.

2. Download the free official app to stay in the loop with all the Nordicana social media, access the latest version of the line up, find your friends using the find-a-friend capability on the map screen, stay up to date with any time changes throughout the festival, and much more.

3. From 6th-7th June 2015, fans with a criminal curiosity for provocative Nordic crime dramas will be flocking to the Troxy theatre in London for the 3rd Nordicana festival.

4. The festival is designed to allow audiences the chance to explore the intoxicating realm of Nordic Noir and to get up close and personal, with an interactive collection of cultural activities to choose from.

5. A tantalising range of food, drink, design and culture combines the excitement of a cultural expo with the flair of a film and literary festival.

6. To access some of the above features you will need Internet connectivity and be asked to register for an account or sign in using Facebook or Twitter and give permission for storing your ID on our servers.

7. For the first time ever, Nordicana will also be recognising other top European shows influenced by the Nordic style.

8. The event promises a plethora of top talent – from internationally famed writers to the brightest stars of film and television that the Northern Lights have to offer.

9. You will also need to allow the app to access your location and contacts for Find-a-Friend to work.

10. Bluetooth is used so your app can get messages and offers from locations that use beacons.
